Digi-Pack Template
After doing my research on digi-packs and album posters, I then needed to began thinking about how I would create and design my own digi-pack. The very first thing I had to do before designing and making any drafts was to get a template of the digi-pack I would be using. As I previously mentioned, there are an array of different layouts for a digi-pack which can all be seen in the image I have provided below, but the layout I have decided to go with is the six panel digi-pack which will include a CD and a DVD. I decided to use this layout as it is the most commonly used layout and is conventionally for the Pop Punk genre, so I will be able to look at an array of existing products which will help me when creating my own product, but also the six panel digi-pack will enable me to express my artist in the way I want as I will have plenty of room to add images of the artist to help the audience understand who she is as an artist and hopefully they will enjoy her music, listen to her and will also be intrigued by the images that will be used on the digi-pack. Underneath the list of different digi-pack layouts (which can be found below) I have provided an image of the template I will be using to create my digi-pack with and this template will help me in trying to figure out where everything will be placed and how it will all fit together. I was able to get these different images from the website for my college as all I had to do was go onto the 'Media Studies' course and I was then able to download a template which I would be able to use when constructing my digi-pack.
Here are the images that I previously mentioned:
